Criticism

Learn to take criticism and seek it out at every opportunity. Don’t get upset even if you think the criticism is harsh, don’t be offended even if you think it’s wrong, and always thank those who take the time to offer it.

  3. A very wise advise. I always loved criticism as it helps me become a better person. I chose to see only its positive aspects.

  4. I find criticism is sometimes merely a pretentious way for the reader to say that they "don't get it". The more you submit the better your chances of finding an editor who "gets it". Having said that, I must accept that sometimes I write rubbish and I need to be told so.
